Christophe Lirola


Christophe Lirola is President of Lirola Capital, overseeing all aspects of the Lirola Family Office. With expertise in evaluating M&A arbitrage opportunities as well as potential investments in emerging markets. Before assuming leadership of Lirola Capital he assisted in the identification of opportunities within Lirola Capitals seven channels and helped form Lirola Capital’s core strategy.

Under Christophe’s leadership, Lirola Capital has outperformed the S&P 500 for 3 consecutive years. Prior to Lirola Capital, Christophe was an Associate at BDA Partners, the leading middle market cross border M&A firm affiliated with William Blair and Company. At BDA Christophe worked on buy-side and sell-side assignments in the industrials, consumer and tech spaces.

His clients have included Molex, Pomeroy, Kito, Adweek, Ant Capital and Flextronics among others. As such, he brings a wide-ranging understanding of several different industries and valuation methods. Christophe earned his Bachelor’s from Bucknell University, is a Native Speaker of English and French and is based in South Florida where Lirola Capital is headquartered.

Bernard H. Lirola


Bernard is the founder and Chairman Emeritus of Lirola Capital. He was previously at the Needham Group (1994-2017), where he served in multiple capacities, including portfolio manager of the Needham funds, co-head of corporate finance, head of the health care group and equity research analyst. Prior to joining Needham , Bernard was Head of Swiss Bank Corporation’s U.S. mergers and acquisitions group (1990-1994) and held several positions at The First Boston Corporation (1978-1990), including head of its M&A Health Care Group (1985-1990).

Bernard has extensive experience in all aspects of Wall Street, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and equity research for a wide range of companies. His unique perspective has helped boards and senior executives evaluate their strategic and financial options.  A constant of Bernard’s work has been to evaluate equity investments and to put a price on all kinds of public and private securities.

Bernard has received the Lipper Award for managing the best performing U.S. growth fund during the 2007-2009 period. He has made numerous appearances on CNBC, Fox Business and other U.S. media. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard School of Business and is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France.

Bernard is also the founder of ProBono Doctors and Medical Giving, two charitable organizations helping provide surgeries to underdeveloped communities in developing countries all of the world.
